Here is the updated 2023-24 Brand Guidelines for Wayne County Public Library. Prior to me being hired as WCPL’s graphic specialist, WCPL had no concrete branding. I took the initiative to put together a brand concept pitch in order to have consistency amongst all WCPL branches and Bookmobiles.

Wayne County Public Library opted to create their own graphics for the Beanstack hosted “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” event, so I created logos for the event as well as its parent group, “Growing Readers”. I also designed all of the web and print graphics associated with the event. This is a small sample of some of the materials made for WCPL’s Growing Readers program.

This was an experiment in rebranding an existing company from the ground up— in this case I chose the local coffee shop Nervous Dog. I wanted to compliment their fun feel with a fresh and modern take on their current logo and tagline.
